Grass can grow up to half a meter per day, and flowers can blossom in just a couple of days.
Grasslands receive a lot of rain, sometimes up to 30 cm an hour. In the winter, they receive about 60 million tons of snow!
Water can hurt this biome because it makes it harder for lions to catch their prey with the 30 cm of rain they can receive in just a day.
